FREE EVENT: Working in conjunction with the Union of Concerned Scientists and the advocacy group Beyond The Bomb, Houston Science Enthusiasts presents a discussion about U.S. nuclear weapons policy, with a particular emphasis on U.S. first use of nuclear weapons.
Featured speakers will include Lisbeth Gronlund, Ph.D., Senior Scientist & Co-Director, Global Security Program at the Union of Concerned Scientists; and Rice University Political Science Professor Richard Stoll, whose interests include the study of international conflict, public attitudes on foreign and defense policy, and American national security policy.
